Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU), is the first Pharmacy University of India established by an Act7 of 2008 of State Legislature of Delhi as a State University vide Notification No.F. 2(412)/2008/SB/Vol. II/71 dated 21.01.2010 and is empowered to award degrees as specified by the UGC under section 22 of the UGC Act 1956 through its own departments and constituent colleges in regular mode vide notification No. F.9-19/2015/(CPP-I/PU) dated 22nd September 2015.

Courses Offered :-

Undergraduate Courses :-

Age :- Student should have completed 17 years of age on the date of admission or should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2021.

Eligibility Criteria :-

1. Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) / Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm.) :-

• Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (12 year Course) or the Indian School Examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and/or Biology (P.C.B. / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects with 55% or above marks* in aggregate (theory and practical) and individually in three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics) from Recognized Schools in the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
• 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state / central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M.) and/or Biology (P.C.B. / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects with 55 % or above marks* in aggregate (theory and practical) and individually in three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics).
• Any other equivalent qualification including National institute of Open School approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
• Intermediate examination in science from Indian Universities or with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M.) and/or Biology (P.C.B. / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects with 55 % or above marks* in aggregate (theory and practical) and individually in three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics).

2. Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) :-

• Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (12-year Course) or the Indian School Examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (P.C.B.) as optional subjects with 55 % or above marks* in aggregate (theory and practical) and individually in three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) from Recognized Schools in the National Territory of Delhi.
• 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state / central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (P.C.B.) as optional subjects with 55% or above marks* in aggregate (theory and practical) and individually in three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
• Any other qualification approved by the Delhi Council for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
• Intermediate examination in science from Indian Universities or with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (P.C.B.) as optional subjects with 55% or above marks* in aggregate (theory and practical) and individually in three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).

Note :- The candidate having supplementary / compartment in the qualifying examination shall not be eligible for admission in the University teaching department.

3. B. Pharm. Lateral Entry :-

• A candidate seeking admission to B. Pharm. Lateral Entry (to Second Year/Third semester) must have passed D. Pharm. course as per PCI norms. 85 % seats will be reserved for those who have passed D. Pharm. from DPSRU. 15 % seats will be open to other institutes from Delhi or outside from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act as per regulation 4.B. of the Bachelor of Pharmacy course Regulations, 2014.
• The merit will be prepared only on the basis of second year D. Pharm. examination only.

Post Graduate Courses :-

Age :- Candidates seeking admission to M. Pharm. / M.B.A. (Pharmaceutical Management) / MBA – Pharma Economics and Trade course must be more than 21 years of age as on 31st December 2021.

Eligibility Criteria :- A candidate seeking admission to First Semester must have passed:

1. Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) / M.B.A. (Pharmaceutical Management)

• B. Pharm. Degree examination of an Indian University established by law in India from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than 55 % of the maximum marks*(Aggregate of II, III and IV yrs/or III to VIII semesters of B.Pharm.)
• Every student, selected for admission to post graduate pharmacy program in any PCI approved institution should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should apply for the registration of the same within one month from the date of his/her admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled.

2. Masters in Hospital Administration (M.H.A.) / Masters in Public Health (M.P.H.)

• B. Pharm. / M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. / B.H.M.S. / B.U.M.S. / B.A.M.S. / B.P.T. Degree examination of an Indian university established by law in India from an institution approved by their respective Councils of India (PCI, MCI, DCI, AYUSH, Homoeopath, Ayurved, Unani councils, DCPT & OT) and has scored not less than 55 % of the maximum marks.*
• Every student, selected for admission to post graduate program in any council approved institution should have obtained registration with the State Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled.

Note :- GPAT qualified candidates shall be considered for admission first.

DPSRU-WCSC CERTIFICATE COURSES :-

Eligibility Criteria :-

(a) Medicine Management :- Pass in 12th or equivalent from a recognized board in India having Science Stream with Biology/ Maths Background with a minimum of 50% in aggregate.
(b) Beauty Wellness Consultant :- Pass in 12th or equivalent from a recognized board in India with any stream with a minimum of 50% in aggregate.
(c) Sports Assessment & Yoga Application :- Pass in 12th or equivalent from a recognized board in India with any stream with a minimum of 50% in aggregate.
• Nature: Regular and full time
• Duration: One Year

Age :– The minimum age limit is 17 years as on 31st Dec. 2021 and the upper age limit is as given below:

1. For Bachelor of Pharmacy (Ayurved) – [B. Pharm. (Ayu.)] / Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Community Healthcare / Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) / Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) :- Same As B.Pharm / D.Pharm mentioned above.
2. Post Graduate Diploma in Plant Tissue Culture :- B. Pharm./B. Sc. (Agriculture, Botany, Microbiology, Biotechnology). (20 years of age as on 31st December 2021.)
3. M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence and Precision Medicine :- Any graduate in Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, Medical Science, Veterinary Science or equivalent are eligible for admission to First Semester M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence and Precision Medicine. (20 years of age as on 31st December 2021.)
4. Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in Sports Medicine :- Candidates seeking admission to MPT in any specialty must have the degree of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized institute or university with a minimum of 55 % in aggregate. (must be more than 21 years of age as on 31stDecember 2021.)
5. MBA – Pharma Economics and Trade :- Same as MBA(PM) / M.Pharm mentioned above.
6. Executive Master of Pharmacy (Executive M. Pharm.) in Drug Regulatory Science :- (A) B. Pharm. Degree examination of an Indian University established by law in India from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than 55 % of the maximum marks* (Aggregate of II, III and IV yrs / or III to VIII semesters of B. Pharm.). (B) The candidate must be in the service as pharmacist, preferably in the regulatory division for at least 3 years. (C) The candidate should be sponsored by their employer (Pharmaceutical industry / Government organizations).# (D) Applications of the persons already in government service should be forwarded through their employees. The forwarding authorities should also certify that the entries in the application have been verified from the records and found correct, and that no disciplinary/vigilance proceedings are either pending or contemplated against the officer as well as no major/minor penalties imposed on the officer during the last ten years or the period of service, whichever is less. (must be more than 21years of age as on 31st December 2021.)

Basis of Selection :-

1. Undergraduate Courses :- The merit list of candidates seeking admission to B. Pharm. / D. Pharm. / Bachelor of Pharmacy (Ayurved) – B. Pharm. (Ayu.) / Bachelor of Business Administration in Community Healthcare (BBA) / Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) / Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) will be prepared on the basis of aggregate of the three subjects (theory and practical taken together) Physics, Chemistry and Biology Mathematics. If candidate has taken both mathematics and biology, the best of two will be considered for third subject after Physics and Chemistry. However, in BPT only Biology will be considered as third Subject after Physics and Chemistry.
2. Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) / M.B.A. (Pharmaceutical Management) / MBA – Pharma Economics and Trade :- The merit list of candidates for admission will be in accordance with the following criteria:

For GPAT qualified candidates: The merit list will be prepared on the basis of GPAT Rank/ Score secured.

For Non-GPAT candidates: The merit list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate of marks obtained in II, III and IV yrs (or III to VIII semesters of B. Pharm.).

The calculation of CGPA to percentage (%) will be as follows: CGPA = (Sum of SGPAs of 3rd to 8th Semesters) / (Number of Semesters) Percentage (%) = (CGPA x 10)

• For any other formula the candidate has to give the documented proof of the formula prescribed by their university. The decision of the DPSRU authority will be final and binding.
• Candidate seeking admission to the M. Pharm., MBA in Pharmaceutical Management and Pharma Economics and Trade course must have passed the Bachelor of Pharmacy examination with at least 55% in the aggregate of theory and practical of II, III and IV year/ III to VIII Semester from PCI approved Institute / University.

3. Executive Master of Pharmacy (Executive M. Pharm.) in Drug Regulatory Science :- The merit list of candidates for admission will be in accordance with the following criteria.
• 50% weightage for marks in theory and practical taken together in II, III and IV years (or III to VIII semesters)
• 50% weightage for experience in Pharmaceutical industry / government organizations like CDSCO / State FDCA etc.

There shall be only online Application with Single window admission system
Candidates shall visit http://dpsru.edu.in and apply online to the University for admission and pay the fee of Rupees 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card as required in the online process. No print of form will be required to be sent to the University. The acknowledgement slip generated online as a proof of payment while submitting the online application form, MUST be retained/saved by the candidate for future reference.
